General settings
The General heading under Setting is the reference module. Base.php lists its screens in the reference group of MODULE_REFERENCE, and reference.php includes modules/reference/<modref>.php for the modref in the URL. Five are in the menu; two more (Resource, Resource Group) are listed in Base.php and reached from Users & Privileges.
How this page was verified
Written from master on 2026-09-06 and compared with the big five the same day. No earlier page existed. A map of the five menu entries; the two that already have a page are only pointed to.
| Menu entry | modref | What it is | Page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Configuration | dev_config | the inweb_config editor, on $pdo | inweb_config |
| Company Register | company | companies, contacts, transmittal templates, company and library privileges | below |
| Project Register | projects | projects and their MDR settings | Projects and MDR settings |
| Users & Privileges | users_privileges | persons, groups, module privileges | Users and privileges |
| Country & Other Settings | country_currency_holiday | country, currency rates, national holidays | below |
Company Register
company.php with ref_company_browse.htm. The tables:
| Table | Holds |
|---|---|
ts_company | the company: code, name, type (ts_company_type), address rows in ts_company_address |
ts_company_transmittal | the transmittal template per company, used by Generate Transmittal |
ts_company_priv | which other companies a company's users may see (setpriv, one row per visible company) |
ts_doc_library | which library folders a company may see (setlibpriv, with the Check All / Check Child buttons) |
ts_org_person | the contact persons |
Commands: edit, getMainDataById, getparent, doc_index, download, import (Excel through xls.inc.php), setpriv, setlibpriv. Toolbar: New, Edit, Delete, Save, Save Change, Upload, Import, Export to CSV, Search, Check ALL / UnCheck ALL, Check Child / UnCheck Child, Refresh, Close.
The file is mixed: 27 calls to iw_mysql_query() against 59 uses of $pdo. The grid and the privilege writes are on PDO; parts of the import and the transmittal template upload are not.
Country & Other Settings
country_currency_holiday.php opens ref_country_currency_holiday_browse.htm, a page with three grids that dispatch to country.php, currency_rates.php and holiday.php.
| Grid | Table | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Country | ts_country | vendors, companies, the MRR origin country |
| Currency rates | ts_currency, ts_currency_rates | RFQ bids, PO, contract exchange rates |
| National holiday | ts_holiday | the review-time (working days) computation of Document Routing |
Each of the three scripts has two or three legacy calls left next to six or seven PDO calls; the grids load, the rarely used helpers do not.
Gotchas
ts_holidayis per year. A new year with no holidays entered makes every routing due date land on real holidays; nothing warns.- Company privileges are a second gate. A person can hold a library privilege through their group and still see no documents of another company, because their own company has that company unticked in
setpriv. - Currency rates have a date. A PO created before the newest rate row keeps the rate it was created with.
Instance differences
Checked on 2026-09-06.
| Instance | Difference |
|---|---|
| Jadestone, JOTRE, Timas | company.php and projects.php differ from master (client fields on the project form); group_privileges.php differs in all four forks. Timas adds a system_code.php here instead of under DMS settings. |
| Medco | Only group_privileges.php and library_privilages.php differ. |
